if one feels short of opportunity, they should seek me i know where they all are!!!

if you want to label someone who puts themself between two destinations and then lets themself get walked all over, crossed all over, or used as a bridge, you should probably call them a gangplank.
if you're a simpleton you could just call someone who steps on your toe, gets walked on regular
style, or calls you and idiot, a GANGPLANK.
